This Natural Park Center is a wilderness comprised of forests, prairies, and wetlands.
Native flora and fauna, and wild animals thrive with-in this serene wilderness park.
The Nature Center and Refuge offers the avid hiker 20 miles of trails which provide easy
access to a myriad of natural wonders to be found on the Refuge.

An interesting tree. Or is it just one more. For whatever reason this tree stood out to me.
All said and done I estimate I had a hike about 8 miles long. I drove to several far sections and got out to walk those sections as well. Perhaps on a cooler day I might manage a bit more.
It was certainly an outdoor experience I will treasure for ever more.
Just a long walk really, and yet one that loosens one up, and seem's to be able to touch placed with-in that may have been forgotten. I'm sure I will have to search out other similar Nature Parks and find out from a foot level way what secrets each one holds, somewhere deep with-in its beauteous depths.
